Douglas Adams of Winchester, Virginia has been appointed by Governor Mark Warner to the Steering Committee for "One Virginia – One Future", Governor Warner’s Economic Development Strategy Plan.

The Steering Committee has pulled together 14 key business and community leaders to examine critical economic development issues facing Virginia and to identify innovative strategies to address these issues.

Mr. Adams has long been associated with real estate and economic development in Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley. He is a founder of The Adams Companies.
