The Adams Companies is No. 29 of the "Fantastic 50"

The Award

The Virginia Chamber of Commerce selects the "Fantastic 50" from the fastest growing companies in Virginia. Nominations come from the local Chambers of Commerce, economic development organizations, and the business community in general. The companies are required to be privately held, with headquarters in Virginia and show sales between $200,000 and $100 million. 1999 nominees were judged on sales revenue history over the past four years by Price-Waterhouse-Cooper.

"These "Fantastic 50" companies illustrate why Virginia can look forward to a bright economic future in the 21st century," said Hugh Keogh, president of the Virginia Chamber.

The Adams Companies was founded by Douglas, Kevin and Fern (deceased) Adams in 1988. It has become the premier commercial real estate firm in the Interstate 81/Shenandoah Valley area of northern Virginia. The Adams companies perform the following services:
