J. Michael Foster
Since joining Adams-Nelson & Associates, Inc. in 2003, Michael has quickly become a top producer with the company. Prior to joining the brokerage, Michael gained extensive business and management experience in the Winchester area. Over the past twenty-five years he served as Director of two non-profit organizations, Shalom et Benedictus, Inc. and Healthy Families Northern Shenandoah Valley. Under his leadership, Shalom et Benedictus, Inc. received the award of Joint Hospital Accreditation with Commendation and Healthy Families was awarded National Healthy Families America Credential. Michael also helped to spearhead a variety of community projects, including the Community Assistance Programs in three area school systems, the Youth Development Center, First Night Winchester, and CLEAN, Inc. He also served on the original Our Health Steering Committee that eventually led to the creation of the Our Health Community Services Campus.
Michael is a past President of the Frederick County Rotary Club and serves on the Board of Directors of Healthy Families Northern Shenandoah Valley. He is a member in good standing of the Blue Ridge Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He and his wife, Su-Lin, have five sons and live in the City of Winchester.
Michael and Richard Bell successfully co-brokered the sale of the Travelodge located at Exit 313 of I-81 in Winchester, VA. The facility, which sits on 3 acres and has 148 rooms plus banquet facilities for a total of 77,664 SF, was sold to an investment partnership.
Michael, Richard Bell, and Jim McLaurin co-brokered the sale of the AT&T Data Switching Station located on Route 11 in Middletown, VA. The property is 73,000 SF with high tech wiring, back up generators, and parking for over 200 vehicles. The facility was purchased by an investment group.
Michael facilitated the sale of the Top of Virginia Chamber of Commerce Building located at 2 N. Cameron Street in downtown Winchester. The 3 story, 10,500 SF building was sold to a high tech company.
